I have fond memories of Patricia as our mentor for bad but fun behaviour when visiting Acton from St Eds.

My dear friend Trixie I loved to come and visit you at Van Dyck, picking my way through the allotments, and gathering cornflowers for you. You showed me glimpses of wonder. You filled me up, we danced to Edith Piaf , you are always in my heart. Xxx

Dear Trixie, it sometimes seemed the 60’s were especially invented for you, or perhaps many of the aspects of life then were actually invented by you. Whichever way it was your free rolling invention seemed to bring the poetry of life into the everyday, and how it should be dealt with. You made it possible to see humour, and good intentions when life’s problems, and affairs of the heart weighed heavy. You would wash it all away with your flow of cosmic care for us all. You filled us up with love and consideration. We were all your road brothers and sisters, and that road was leading to the light. So I walked away at the end of the day filled with joy and optimism. I never considered that it might have emptied you to some degree, and you might need time for your well to refill, and that one day that might prove hard for you to do. But because of quantum sainthood, Trixie it isn’t a done deal. We are still rolling!
